Earlier this year I advised that local Conservative councillors had secured £450k of extra investment for Clewer & Dedworth. I also promised that many of our pavements would be improved this year.
RBWM have now completed pavement improvement schemes across Clewer & Dedworth.
- Hatch Lane (Dedworth Rd to Carter Close
- Holly Crescent/ The Parade
- Orchard Avenue
- Clewer Park
- Dedworth Rd/ Manor Rd
- Tozer Walk
The improvements at Clewer Park used a new treatment and while it looks good it is rough and needs to be looked at again after the winter. This treatment was going to be used at Poolmans/ Priors/ Monks Rd but we will need to look again at this paving after the winter.
My view is that there are a lot of pavements in our area that need to be improved, but this will not happen all at once. That’s why I have drafted a plan to improve not just our roads but our pavements too.
This work will continue with your support.
