Two new trees have been planted in Osgood Park. The trees fill two gaps down the Wolf Lane side of the park. They are known as “Olympic Flame” trees as they turn bright red in the Autumn- a really useful addition to Osgood Park.
During the past three years I have introduced a mix of trees to Osgood Park and made sure that any vandalised trees have been replaced. I have also made sure that a commemorative tree is in place to remind us of the life of Peter Osgood.
14,000 spring flowering bulbs are in the park to complement the trees- I am hoping that this number will increase to 20,000 following this year’s planting.
