Another busy year is drawing to a close.  In 2017 Cllr Mike Airey and I delivered many improvements around Dedworth including:

  • New zebra crossing at Dedworth Tesco;
  • Victoria Park opened;
  • LED streetlights installed in most streets;
  • Dedworth Spring Clean (20+ sacks of rubbish collected);
  • Dedworth Good Business Neighbour Award;
  • 6,000 more spring flowering bulbs planted;
  • 2,000 more trees planted;
  • 6 parking consultations completed;
  • New flower planters on Dedworth Road;
  • Commemorative bench in Osgood Park;
  • Cycle racks in both Victoria Park and Osgood Park;
  • Castle Farm Spinney- path created and bulbs planted;
  • Repairs to another 6 roads (Cranbourne Ave, Camm Ave, Park Corner, Highfield Rd, Abbots Walk & Manor Farm Cl)
  • Repairs to road humps on Dedworth Road started;
  • New festive lights at Dedworth Road;
  • New pavement at St Andrews/ Dedworth Road shops; and
  • New public clock at St Andrews/ Dedworth Road shops.

And of course, we  have had the Dedworth Christmas Tree back again in 2017!
